Lady Willow was a courtesan in the Tang dynasty. A rich
man, Lee, bought out her contract, and brought her to live in
his home as his concubine. She fell in love with a
handsome young scholar, Han Yi. When Lee heard of their
affair, in an act of benevolent generosity, he gave Lady
Willow to Han Yi. They were separated during the rebellion
of An Lu Shan, but a courageous warrior saved the Lady
Willow and reunited her with her love, Han Yi.
